How It Started
Born at the 19th Hole
It started the way most good ideas do — over drinks after a round. Jeff and Joe, both finance veterans and avid golfers, were commiserating about the same problem: the country clubs they loved were still running on clunky spreadsheets and outdated financial reports that nobody on the board wanted to read.
They’d spent their careers building sophisticated financial models and executive dashboards for Fortune 500 companies. Why couldn’t country clubs have the same caliber of reporting?
That question became Bison Group Golf. Today, we build custom financial reporting packages that combine deep club finance expertise with modern data visualization — giving boards and finance committees the clear, beautiful, actionable insights they need to run their clubs with confidence.

Jeff
Co-Founder & CEO
Jeff spent 15 years in corporate finance — most recently as a Finance Director at a Fortune 500 firm — before trading the corner office for the first tee. A single-digit handicapper and lifelong club member, Jeff saw firsthand how country clubs struggled to present financial data in a meaningful way. He founded Bison Group to bring institutional-grade reporting to the clubs he loves.
Joe
Co-Founder & COO
Joe is a CPA with a decade of experience in financial planning and analysis across private equity and hospitality. An avid golfer who has played over 200 courses, Joe understood that club boards deserved more than dense spreadsheets. His expertise in data visualization and financial modeling powers every reporting package Bison Group delivers.
